Although Kathleen Madigan is small in stature, she is huge in laughter. For those who say there are no good female comedians, they have never seen Madigan perform in front of a live audience. A regular in the clubs, theaters, talk-shows and festivals, Madigan has proven to be one of the top female comedians out there today. Dubbed by Jay Leno as “one of America’s funniest female comics,” she is currently putting her comedic talent to use as a writer, producer, and performer on Lewis Black’s “The Root of All Evil,” which airs on Comedy Central. In 2004, Madigan was a season two contestant on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” and in 2007 was a talent scout during the show’s fifth season. She is a regular guest on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Late Show with David Letterman, VH-1, E!, and CNN. She is a mainstay on Comedy Central where she recently debuted a new one-hour special and appeared on The World Stands Up, USO Comedy Tour, The World Comedy Tour, and Comedy Central Presents.
